1. Who we are

Prx.Deals (https://prx.deals) is a price comparison website. For India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the GDPR and the CCPA, we are the entity that decides how the personal data described below is used. You can reach us about privacy at hello@prx.deals.

2. Data we collect

  • Analytics: usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type) — only if you accept cookies.
  • Affiliate tracking: when you click an affiliate link, the retailer's affiliate network sets its own cookie or click identifier so a purchase can be credited to us — only if you accept cookies.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you choose to subscribe (delivered via Mailchimp). We send marketing email only with your consent, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Contact form / email: the details you send us when you get in touch.

We do not require accounts, logins, or email walls to use the site. Prices and links are visible without signing up.

3. Why we use it and our legal bases

  • Consent — analytics and affiliate cookies, and marketing email (you can withdraw at any time; see section 6).
  • Legitimate interest — keeping the site secure and working.
  • Contract — delivering the newsletter you asked for.
  • Under the DPDP Act we process your data on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

  • Google Analytics 4 (analytics)
  • Affiliate networks (affiliate tracking)
  • Mailchimp (newsletter delivery)
  • Cloudflare (CDN and security)

Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We never sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside India (for example, in the United States or the EU). Where that happens, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards and applicable transfer mechanisms.

6. Your rights and withdrawing consent

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To change your cookie choice, use the Cookie Policy or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, use the link in any email. California residents (CCPA) may request disclosure of collected data and opt out of any “sale” — we do not sell data. To exercise any right, contact us via the contact page.

7. Children

The site is not directed at children. Consistent with the DPDP Act we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18, nor under 13 (COPPA) or 16 in the EU (GDPR-K).

8. Data retention

Analytics data is retained per Google's retention settings; newsletter data until you unsubscribe; and contact messages for up to 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
